Privacy Policy

1. Running a free audit

Running an audit does not require an account. We process the website URL you enter (and, if you provide them, an optional business name, business type and location) in order to run the scan and generate your report. Anonymous audit results are not linked to your identity and are not saved beyond what's needed to display your report.

2. Creating an account

If you create a free account, we collect and store:

• Your email address (and, if you sign up via Google, the name and email associated with that Google account).
• The website(s) you choose to monitor, and the audit results, scores and issue history for those websites.
• Your plan (Free or Pro) and, for Pro subscribers, billing status as provided by our payment processor, Stripe.
• A push notification token, only if you opt in to notifications, so we can alert you when monitoring detects something that needs attention.

3. How we use your data

We use the data above only to:

• Run audits and scheduled monitoring scans for the websites you've added.
• Show you your website's health history and send push notifications you've opted into.
• Operate the AI Coach feature (Pro plan), which sends your website's scan data to an AI model to generate guidance — see section 5.
• Process payments and manage your subscription, via Stripe.
• Keep the service secure and diagnose technical problems.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

4. Where your data is stored

Account and website data is stored using Google Firebase (Authentication and Firestore). The application itself runs on Cloudflare Workers. Both providers act as data processors on our behalf and maintain their own security and compliance standards.

5. AI processing

Audit scoring and the AI Coach feature use AI models — either Cloudflare Workers AI, or Google's Gemini API if you've added your own Gemini API key in your account settings. When AI Coach is used, the relevant scan data and your question are sent to the model provider to generate a response. This data is used only to generate that response and is not used by us to train any model.

6. Payments

Pro plan payments are handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details — Stripe provides us only with your subscription status, which we use to determine your plan.

7. Cookies & local storage

We use essential cookies/local storage only — to keep you signed in and remember your theme preference (light or dark mode). We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

8. Data retention

We keep your account and website data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your account data within 30 days, except where we're required to retain billing records for legal or tax purposes.

9. Your rights

If you're in the UK or EU, you have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, or to delete your account, email us at dean@dean-da-dev.co.uk.

10. Children's privacy

Growth Audit is intended for business use and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

11. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Growth Audit after a change means you accept the updated policy.
